I have always liked small applications that do exactly what is needed, without burying the user under hundreds of unnecessary features.
When I started taking on more freelance projects, accurate and convenient time tracking became a real problem. Spreadsheets and tools such as Linear worked separately, but became cumbersome when one hour contained several tasks for different clients and projects.
I imagined a simple dashboard: select a client and project, press Start, do the work, then press Stop. One week later, the idea had become a working product.
Key features
- Client and project management
- Nested tasks that can represent epics, sprints, tasks or any custom structure
- Live time tracking with a timer or manual time entries
- Time registration at client, project and task level
- Client user accounts showing hours worked in the current month and the estimated cost
The application is deliberately compact, but its architecture leaves room for new functions when a real need appears.
Do you need an equally focused internal application built around your own process?
